The ingenuity combined with the creation resulted in a series of amazing films about the secret life of the quarries and some of the most impressive night shots of CAT machines.

In Athens, now, we have just launched the brand-new storage and reception area for our spare parts, offering our visitor and partner the ultimate CAT experience and quality he deserves.

We also highlight, as always, some of our collaborations with an emphasis on the variety of uses and applications of CAT equipment, from wind farms and photovoltaic systems to luxury hotels.

This year, for us, it is a milestone year as we celebrate our 40 years of operation and CAT MAGAZINE will be the main way for us to keep you informed.

Taking advantage of the circumstances, all Eltrak Group people “got together” after a long time to exchange wishes for the new year.
The screens were filled with smiles, wishes but also with emotional moments, when given the opportunity, it has been announced also the beginning of the celebrations for the 40 years of the ELTRAK Group.
Throwing it back to where it all started back in 1982…
“40 years of ELTRAK, 40 years of which we are proud” the tag line was announced by the CEO of Eltrak Group Mrs. Natasha Covas-Kneiss, in combination with a series of activities and events for 2022.
At the same time, ELTRAK people had the opportunity to be informed about the Group’s progress during 2021, which has been a record year, as well as for the future plans of the Group, based on four main axes: Health and Safety, Human Resources, Infrastructure and Procedures, and Customer Experience.
More surprises yet to come: all the people working on the company received a festive gift box with the brand new 40years ELTRAK logo, which in addition to the individual new year cake and champagne, also contained a surprise gift for everyone.
And not only that, four lucky winners, after an online lottery, gained significant amounts of money in gift vouchers.
The meeting ended with everyone’s wishes for health, joy, and success during this festive year for the ELTRAK group and of course with a new live event.

]]> From Theory to Action https://eltrak.gr/en/from-theory-to-action/ Wed, 23 Feb 2022 10:47:55 +0000 https://eltrak.gr/?p=18575 […]]]> Tuesday, February 1st, we were more than happy to welcome in our facilities in Nea Kifisia a group of students in the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering at the University of West Attica visited.
Τhe Topographic Engineering students were informed about the use and operation of some of the leading brand Caterpillar machines. The students had also the opportunity to see in situ some of the hi-tech possibilities offered by the CAT equipment and how it can make a difference in the construction domain, facilitating also the daily life of the operators. The ELTRAK Head of Education Mr. Kyriakos Protoulis has been responsible to give the whole picture to the young students, including a presentation of the operating process of the workshop. The interest of the students was lively by actively participating with questions mainly in relation to the life cycle of the machines, their maintenance, the hydraulic systems, and also the engines.
During the tour, the students did not fail to be informed about the HR Procedures of our Group by the Director of Human Resources, such as Mr. Nikos Boutas, giving important information on key areas such as the recruitment process, staff evaluation, and training opportunities offered to the employees. Finally, there was a big interest in the policy, which the company has structured for the internal development processes of the staff.
We are very happy that this visit has been the beginning of wider cooperation between ELTRAK and the University of West Attica. Soon, there will be more educational visits on behalf of various departments of the University, such as that of the Department of Civil Engineering.

“ELTRAK Group and I personally are firm of the belief that the unrivaled quality of Caterpillar vehicles combined with the ELVO Know-How will be a decisive success factor both in the specific project as well as in future cooperation,” stated the CEO of ELTRAK Group, Mrs. Natasha Covas-Kneiss.
“This cooperation is the fruition of the organized efforts we have been making for several months now to reorganize, remodel, and develop the facilities we have acquired. Our vision for ELVO is to reactivate its unique infrastructural and operational capabilities as a pioneering industry that can play an active role as a specialized subcontractor of a special type of vehicle. We hope that this contract with ELTRAK will be the beginning of long-term strategic cooperation”, noted the General Manager of the company, Mr. Dimitrios Angelopoulos.
” In only ten months since the acquisition, we have succeeded in upgrading our facilities so that we can deliver projects of high standards and requirements. We have made a lot of investments in machinery, infrastructure and recruiting new employees, also cooperating with local contractors from the Thessaloniki area. In a firm, organized and consistent manner, ELVO will regain the role it once had as the leading Greek vehicle industry and will reinforce its impact within and beyond the borders of the country,” stated the Chairwoman of the Board, Ms. Orly Katsav.

It was prepared by us with a lot of care, wishing to enrich in the best way this unique channel of communication that we have opened, considering how important information is within the Caterpillar family.
In this issue, you will read about issues that took our breath away, such as the devastating fires with many outbreaks in August all over Greece and how thanks to their Caterpillar equipment, our partners rushed with self-sacrifice to contribute to their extinguishment.
Moreover, the tendency to choose cat machine rental equipment is increasing even for big demanding projects, such as the construction of the largest photovoltaic park in Greece in Kozani, which was exclusively powered by ELTRAK.
In general, Northern Greece is going through one of its most interesting construction periods, a fact that prompted us to the permanent installation of a Cat service workshop, based in Drama, for fast and consistent service.
We are close to you, whatever your dream is, whatever the required conditions for its realization. The new, luxurious mega yacht “Andromeda” by Golden Yachts, which pioneers in this category, has been equipped with Caterpillar marine engines, type 3516E, that are fully aligned with the strictest legislation of air pollutants IMO Tier III.
Globally, we are now preparing for new innovating Cat products and services, for tools and solutions on a digital and online level, that highlight our basic pillars of development, such as quality, technological development, and environmental sensitivity.
