2022 and 40 Years of ELTRAK, online wishes accompanied by surprises and gifts for everyone!

Friday, February 18th, the ELTRAK Group celebrated the New Year 2022 via an online meeting where all employees checked in. Taking advantage of the circumstances, all Eltrak Group people “got together” after a long time to exchange wishes for the new year.
The screens were filled with smiles, wishes but also with emotional moments, when given the opportunity, it has been announced also the beginning of the celebrations for the 40 years of the ELTRAK Group.
Throwing it back to where it all started back in 1982…
“40 years of ELTRAK, 40 years of which we are proud” the tag line was announced by the CEO of Eltrak Group Mrs. Natasha Covas-Kneiss, in combination with a series of activities and events for 2022.
At the same time, ELTRAK people had the opportunity to be informed about the Group’s progress during 2021, which has been a record year, as well as for the future plans of the Group, based on four main axes: Health and Safety, Human Resources, Infrastructure and Procedures, and Customer Experience.
More surprises yet to come: all the people working on the company received a festive gift box with the brand new 40years ELTRAK logo, which in addition to the individual new year cake and champagne, also contained a surprise gift for everyone.
And not only that, four lucky winners, after an online lottery, gained significant amounts of money in gift vouchers.
The meeting ended with everyone’s wishes for health, joy, and success during this festive year for the ELTRAK group and of course with a new live event.

From Theory to Action

Tuesday, February 1st, we were more than happy to welcome in our facilities in Nea Kifisia a group of students in the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering at the University of West Attica visited.
Τhe Topographic Engineering students were informed about the use and operation of some of the leading brand Caterpillar machines. The students had also the opportunity to see in situ some of the hi-tech possibilities offered by the CAT equipment and how it can make a difference in the construction domain, facilitating also the daily life of the operators. The ELTRAK Head of Education Mr. Kyriakos Protoulis has been responsible to give the whole picture to the young students, including a presentation of the operating process of the workshop. The interest of the students was lively by actively participating with questions mainly in relation to the life cycle of the machines, their maintenance, the hydraulic systems, and also the engines.
During the tour, the students did not fail to be informed about the HR Procedures of our Group by the Director of Human Resources, such as Mr. Nikos Boutas, giving important information on key areas such as the recruitment process, staff evaluation, and training opportunities offered to the employees. Finally, there was a big interest in the policy, which the company has structured for the internal development processes of the staff.
We are very happy that this visit has been the beginning of wider cooperation between ELTRAK and the University of West Attica. Soon, there will be more educational visits on behalf of various departments of the University, such as that of the Department of Civil Engineering.
