The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and implementing the accounting plan and tax legislation, recording financial transactions in the accounting books, and ensuring adherence to specified deadlines.

Main responsibilities

  • Keeping accounting records – double-entry bookkeeping (entry, coding, classification, verification of documents and records, submission to MyData).
  • Monitoring bank and cash transactions.
  • Accounting reconciliations and preparation of reports for management.
  • Participation in the preparation of annual financial statements.
  • Issuance of tax documents, such as invoices, accompanying documents, etc.
  • Participation in the processing of monthly and annual tax obligations.
  • Handling tax-related matters.

Required Education / Skills

  • University Degree (AEI/TEI/IEK) in Accounting or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a related job position.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek accounting Standards and tax legislation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, especially excel spreadsheets.
  • Effective communication skills for the day-to-day handling of issues and problem-solving, ability to meet deadlines in compliance with the legislation.
