With great honor and pride, Eltrak participated as a Special Sponsor in the flagship event celebrating 100 years of contribution by the Hellenic Mining Enterprises Association (SME). The event took place at the welcoming venue of the “Hellenic Cosmos” Cultural Center.
Eltrak’s presence at this celebration marked a continuation of our shared journey with SME, which gained momentum in 2024 through our active involvement in key regional initiatives, such as the event held in Drama. As part of these activities, Mr. S. Papalis, Digital & Service Operations Manager at Eltrak, presented the latest Caterpillar innovations in digital technologies and telematics, highlighting their impact on safety, efficiency, and sustainable growth in the sector.
This prestigious event brought together distinguished guests from the mining and construction industries, as well as representatives from the political, academic, and environmental sectors. Together, they engaged in a meaningful dialogue on the present and future of mineral resources, focusing on their sustainable utilization and the strengthening of Europe’s competitiveness.
With its equipment and its people, Eltrak remains deeply connected to Greece’s mineral wealth and mining activity. We are especially pleased to see the sector return to the spotlight with “new” and increasingly relevant minerals, such as gallium.
