ELTRAK Donates Cutting-Edge Technology Equipment to the University of the Peloponnese
ELTRAK is proud to announce the launch of a broad strategic partnership with the Department of Digital Systems at the University of the Peloponnese. As part of its corporate social responsibility commitment and its ongoing investment in knowledge and innovation, the company has donated state-of-the-art technology equipment, which will be installed right away in the Cybersecurity, Hardware, Artificial Intelligence and Networks Laboratory (CHAIN Lab).
The initiative is designed to upgrade teaching and lab courses with immediate effect, giving students hands-on access to cutting-edge infrastructure. At the same time, the partnership opens up new horizons for bridging academic research and the job market, enabling students to write their theses on real-world business and technology challenges.
Statement by Spyros Psomadelis, CIPO (Chief Information & Process Officer), ELTRAK Group:
“At ELTRAK Group, digitalization and a rigorous security culture run through every level of our operations and the services we provide. Our partnership with the Department of Digital Systems at the University of the Peloponnese and CHAIN Lab is a strategic investment in the future. This goes well beyond a simple equipment donation: we are laying the foundations for a bridge between academic knowledge and practical application. We are delighted to support the next generation of scientists by giving them the tools, and the environment they need, to hone their skills and take on real-world technology challenges.”
Statement by Konstantinos Ioannou, Chair of the Department of Digital Systems, University of the Peloponnese:
“Following our visit to ELTRAK Group's facilities, I would like to extend my warmest thanks, both personally and on behalf of the Cybersecurity, Hardware, Artificial Intelligence and Networks Laboratory (CHAIN Lab) and the Department of Digital Systems at the University of the Peloponnese, for this significant donation of technology equipment. The equipment will be installed in the Lab shortly and put to full use in delivering and upgrading our lab courses.
During our visit, we were particularly struck by how deeply the digital dimension runs through all of the company's services. Equally remarkable is the rigorous security culture that permeates its processes and is applied consistently at every level of its operations.
Today's meeting is far more than a simple donation. It is the occasion, and the springboard, for a broader strategic partnership between the Department of Digital Systems at the University of the Peloponnese and the ELTRAK group. This new alliance opens up significant prospects for our students, chief among them the chance to write their theses on real-world challenges in a cutting-edge business and technology environment.
We look forward with optimism to joint steps ahead and to forging a productive link between academic research and the job market.”
With initiatives and synergies like this, theory meets action, and every side stands to benefit.
