ELTRAK S.A., the official Caterpillar dealer in Greece since 1982 and authorized dealer for BYD and JLG, announces its strategic partnership with Smartlog Group, a leading international organization specializing in innovative intralogistics automation solutions. This collaboration focuses primarily on two cutting-edge technologies: Vertical Storage systems and AutoStore robotic solutions, bringing the most advanced warehouse automation technologies to the Greek market.

AutoStore is a robotic storage and order fulfillment system based on bins, enabling highly efficient picking operations with speed and precision while maximizing available warehouse space. It is the world’s fastest and most space-dense storage system per square meter, offering up to 400% increased storage capacity, 99.7% uptime, and up to 2.5 times greater picking productivity. AutoStore robots operate autonomously with no single point of failure, while 10 robots consume energy equivalent to a single vacuum cleaner, making the system exceptionally sustainable.
Vertical Storage
Smartlog’s Vertical Storage systems — Smartlift and Smartrot — optimize warehouse height for superior organization of both pallets and smaller components. Combined with the proprietary Galys WMS warehouse management software, these systems deliver increased storage capacity within a smaller footprint, faster product access, enhanced accuracy and traceability, and reduced operational costs.
ELTRAK: Over 40 Years of Reliability
ELTRAK S.A. has operated in Greece since 1982 as the official Caterpillar representative, offering sales, rentals, and service across the full CAT equipment range, from earthmoving machinery and power generators to forklifts and marine engines. Smartlog Already in Greece
Smartlog is already establishing its presence in the Greek market. Recently, the company signed its first contract in Greece with Skroutz, the country’s leading marketplace, for the installation of a fully integrated AutoStore system at its logistics center.
Skroutz thus became the first marketplace platform in Greece to automate warehouse operations using AutoStore technology. The system will include 35,940 bins, 30 R5Pro robots, and 5 picking stations, with operations expected to begin during 2026.
